Boston Service Area
Door-to-door ground pet transport across Boston — Beacon Hill, Back Bay, the South End, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton. University-relocation coordination, medical-corridor service for Mass General and Brigham, and Hanscom AFB military service.
Boston pet transport runs on three patterns. First, universities — Harvard, MIT, BU, Northeastern, Tufts, BC, plus the broader Cambridge research ecosystem — drive August move-ins and May move-outs that fill our calendar. Book those windows 4-6 weeks ahead if you can. Second, the Boston medical corridor (Mass General, Brigham, Boston Children's, Dana-Farber) generates patient relocations where pet timing has to flex around treatment schedules. We handle those with date flexibility built in. Third, finance and tech relocations between Boston and NYC are steady year-round.
Boston operationally is similar to NYC and SF — narrow streets, doorman buildings, alternate-side parking, COI requirements for moves through some condo associations. Beacon Hill, Back Bay, and the South End all have building-side logistics our coordinator handles before pickup day. Cross-country runs leave on the Mass Pike (I-90) west to Albany and beyond, or south on I-95 toward NYC and the corridor. Winter brings nor'easters that can shut down I-90 west through the Berkshires; we monitor NWS Boston and flex without penalty when conditions force it. Hanscom AFB (Bedford, ~20 miles NW) is our regular Massachusetts military pickup.
Typical price ranges for routes we run most often. Every quote is itemized and personalized — these are starting ballparks.
Ranges shown are for standard, healthy adult pets. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, etc.) and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect the extra care, monitoring, and coordination those trips require.
Dispatch timing varies by route and season — some pickups go out within a few days, others may take up to a week to line up a driver. Either way, we'll get you a driver for whatever move you need. Tell us your timeline on the quote form and we'll give you a realistic window.
Harvard, MIT, BU, Northeastern, Tufts, BC, and the broader Cambridge research community drive August move-ins and May move-outs. Those windows fill fast — book 4-6 weeks ahead.
Mass General, Brigham, Boston Children's, Dana-Farber — patient relocations from across the country to Boston-area hospitals are routine. We coordinate pickups around treatment schedules and flex dates when treatment plans shift.
Narrow streets, walk-ups, COI requirements common. Tell us the building name on the quote and our coordinator handles paperwork before pickup day. Some Beacon Hill blocks rule out a full-size van — we'll send a smaller vehicle if needed.
Nor'easters and ice storms can shut down I-90 west through the Berkshires and I-91 north. We monitor NWS Boston and flex pickups without penalty when weather is forecast on departure day.
Door-to-door pickup and delivery across the metro. This isn't exhaustive — if your address is in the area, we can get there.
Pricing scales with distance, not with specific endpoints. For trips between 0 and 1,000 miles, the total typically runs $500 to $2,000. Between 1,000 and 2,000 miles, typically $2,000 to $3,800. Between 2,000 and 3,000 miles, typically $3,800 to $5,600. Brachy and medical cases are case-by-case.
