Straightforward Pricing
When a trip is harder — a brachy breed, a pet with medical needs, a route through dangerous heat — it actually costs more to do it safely. We itemize that on your quote and tell you exactly what the surcharge pays for. Nothing is bundled into a mystery 'service fee.'

These are not hidden fees — they reflect the real cost of specialized care. Every surcharge is itemized on your quote.
7% – 17% surcharge
Flat-faced breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Shih Tzus can't regulate temperature the way other dogs can. Transporting them safely means more frequent rest stops, night driving in summer, altitude-limited routing, and full temperature monitoring. This isn't a markup — it's the real cost of keeping your brachy breed safe.

For pets that need medication administration, extra vet stops, or specialized monitoring during transport. Peace of mind for pets with medical needs.
Varies with gas prices
When the national average gas price exceeds $3.00/gallon, a small per-mile surcharge applies. We pass through fuel costs transparently — no hidden markups. If gas is at or below $3.00, there's no surcharge at all.
Negotiated case-by-case
If you're a 501(c)(3) rescue, a municipal shelter, or a veterinary practice booking on behalf of a patient, reach out before requesting a quote. Discounts come out of the PAX admin share first — never out of driver pay. When a discount can't be absorbed that way, we compensate the driver in other ways so they're still made whole for the work they do. Email us with your EIN or state license number.
