Arizona Service Area
USDA-registered ground pet transport across Arizona. Phoenix, Tucson, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, and the snowbird corridors. Desert-heat-aware routing, climate-controlled cabins, and military service at Luke AFB and Davis-Monthan.
Arizona heat defines the planning. Phoenix regularly hits 110-115°F from June through September, and the air is dry but the road surface temperature exceeds 150°F at mid-day. We don't move pets across Arizona during peak summer afternoons. Cross-state pickups in summer leave pre-dawn or post-sunset, and any I-10 segment between Phoenix and Tucson during July–August is timed accordingly. For brachy breeds, this is non-negotiable; for healthy adult pets, it's still our default protocol.
Beyond heat, Arizona is a major retiree destination. We handle a steady flow of relocations into Phoenix and Tucson from California, the Midwest, and the Northeast, and the reverse — pets being moved out as snowbirds head back north. Many of these trips have flexible timing, which lets us route for cooler hours or daypart windows. Cross-country runs east leave on I-10 (toward Texas and the Southeast), I-40 (toward Albuquerque and the Midwest), or I-17/I-15 north (toward Las Vegas and the West).
Arizona has multiple military bases. Luke AFB (west of Phoenix) and Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson) are the largest. Marine Corps Air Station Yuma is in our service area. PAX dispatches base-gate pickups at all three — 10% military discount, no rush fees, no date-change penalties.
Typical price ranges for routes we run most often. Every quote is itemized and personalized — these are starting ballparks.
Ranges shown are for standard, healthy adult pets. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, etc.) and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect the extra care, monitoring, and coordination those trips require.
Dispatch timing varies by route and season — some pickups go out within a few days, others may take up to a week to line up a driver. Either way, we'll get you a driver for whatever move you need. Tell us your timeline on the quote form and we'll give you a realistic window.
Phoenix and the I-10 corridor regularly break 110°F June–September. We don't drive Arizona summer afternoons. Pre-dawn and post-sunset only for cross-state trips, with climate-controlled cabins and pre-mapped vet-accessible rest stops.
Steady flow of pets relocating into AZ from CA, MN, IL, OH, NY — and back out as snowbirds shift seasons. Many of these trips have flexible timing, which we use to route for cooler hours.
All three are bases we dispatch to. We know visitor-control procedures and gate-specific rules. 10% military discount, no rush fees on PCS orders, no date-change penalties.
Late summer monsoons bring sudden flooding and dust storms. We monitor NWS Phoenix and flex departures when severe weather is forecast on pickup day. Drivers carry visibility-flex protocols for haboob conditions.
We pick up and deliver door-to-door throughout the state. These are just the metros where we run the most trips.

Between 2,000 and 3,000 miles, typically $3,800 to $5,600. Brachycephalic breeds and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect Arizona's heat planning. Military clients get 10% off.
