Nevada Service Area
USDA-registered ground pet transport across Nevada. Las Vegas and Henderson in the south, Reno and Carson City in the north, the long stretches of desert in between. Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, and NAS Fallon are routine PAX dispatches — and our summer protocol is built specifically around Nevada's heat.
Nevada is two states stitched together. Las Vegas and Henderson in the south sit at low elevation in the Mojave, where summer highs run 105–115°F sustained from June through September. Reno and Carson City in the north sit at 4,500 feet on the eastern flank of the Sierra Nevada, where winters bring real snow and mountain-pass weather. The 450 miles of mostly empty desert between them — US-95 with very few services — defines what intrastate transport looks like here.
Summer heat is our limiting factor in southern Nevada. We don't pretend it isn't. Brachycephalic breeds (French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers) and pets with cardiac or respiratory conditions are quoted case-by-case for trips through Las Vegas in summer, with overnight or pre-dawn departures, climate-controlled cabins, and routes pre-cleared for vet-accessible exits. The I-15 corridor between Vegas and Los Angeles, and the run east on I-15 through Mesquite and St. George, are core routes — both are hot in summer and we run them at the cadence the animal needs, not at a generic schedule.
Nevada's military presence is significant. Nellis AFB on Las Vegas's northeast side runs F-35 testing, the Red Flag exercises, and the Thunderbirds. Creech AFB at Indian Springs flies remotely-piloted aircraft. NAS Fallon east of Reno is the Navy's TOPGUN home — strike, fighter, and aerial combat training. PAX dispatches base-gate pickups at all three with proper paperwork. 10% military discount, no rush fees on PCS orders, no date-change penalties when orders shift.
Typical price ranges for routes we run most often. Every quote is itemized and personalized — these are starting ballparks.
Ranges shown are for standard, healthy adult pets. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, etc.) and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect the extra care, monitoring, and coordination those trips require.
Dispatch timing varies by route and season — some pickups go out within a few days, others may take up to a week to line up a driver. Either way, we'll get you a driver for whatever move you need. Tell us your timeline on the quote form and we'll give you a realistic window.
June–September in Las Vegas runs 105–115°F sustained. Brachy and medical-case trips are quoted case-by-case with overnight or pre-dawn departures, climate-controlled cabins, and pre-cleared vet-accessible exits. We don't run a Frenchie out of Vegas in 110°F midday and pretend the cabin AC will handle it.
Reno-Carson City sits at 4,500 feet with real winters. Mountain-pass weather on I-80 east toward Salt Lake and on the routes over the Sierra into California can close roads in storms. We monitor NDOT and NWS before any northern-Nevada winter dispatch.
US-95 between the two metros is mostly empty desert with limited services. We run it with extra fuel planning, vet-accessible exits identified in advance, and rest cadence matched to the animal. It's not a route to wing.
All three Nevada installations are in our regular service area. Nellis (F-35 testing, Red Flag, Thunderbirds), Creech (RPA), and NAS Fallon (TOPGUN) all see PAX dispatches. 10% military discount, no rush fees, no date-change penalties.
We pick up and deliver door-to-door throughout the state. These are just the metros where we run the most trips.

Pricing scales with distance, not with specific endpoints. For trips between 0 and 1,000 miles, the total typically runs $500 to $2,000. Between 1,000 and 2,000 miles, typically $2,000 to $3,800. Between 2,000 and 3,000 miles, typically $3,800 to $5,600. Brachy breeds and medical cases get quoted case-by-case to reflect Nevada's summer heat. Military clients get 10% off. Every quote is itemized — we send a personalized breakdown usually within two hours.
Yes — but the trip is built around the heat. Brachy and medical-case trips out of Las Vegas in summer run on overnight or pre-dawn departures, with climate-controlled cabins and pre-cleared vet-accessible exits along the route. We won't push a Frenchie out at 110°F midday and hope the cabin AC handles it. Mention the breed and any health notes on the quote and we'll plan accordingly.
Yes to all three. Nellis (F-35 testing, Red Flag, Thunderbirds), Creech (remotely-piloted aircraft), and NAS Fallon (TOPGUN) are all in our regular dispatch area. We dispatch base-gate pickups with proper paperwork, honor a 10% military discount, charge no rush fees on PCS orders, and waive date-change fees when orders shift.
Carefully. US-95 between the metros is 450 miles of mostly empty desert with limited services. We run it with extra fuel planning, vet-accessible exits identified in advance, and rest cadence matched to the animal. Same-day Vegas-to-Reno is doable but tight in summer; an overnight stop at Tonopah or Hawthorne is a natural midpoint when slower cadence is right.
Yes. Reno and Carson City sit at 4,500 feet with real winters, and the routes over the Sierra into California can close in storms. We monitor NDOT and NWS before any northern-Nevada winter dispatch and flex without penalty when conditions force it.
