Chicago apartment pickups mirror NYC and SF — high-rises along the lakefront (Streeterville, Gold Coast, River North, South Loop) require reserved elevators and loading-dock coordination. Neighborhood pickups in Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Logan Square, and Andersonville use street-level loading with permit when needed. Winter is the real variable.
