Atlanta Service Area
Door-to-door ground pet transport across metro Atlanta — Buckhead, Midtown, Virginia-Highland, Decatur, Alpharetta, Marietta. The Southeast hub for cross-country routes on I-85, I-75, I-20, and I-95 via Savannah.
Atlanta is the hub of the Southeast for ground pet transport. I-85 runs north to Charlotte and DC; I-75 runs north to Chattanooga and the Midwest, south to Florida; I-20 runs east to Augusta and Columbia, west to Birmingham and Dallas. Most PAX routes between the Southeast and the rest of the country pass through Atlanta. Summer heat runs 90–95°F with humidity June through September — brachy protocol is active in summer, and ATL has a strong Frenchie and Bulldog population.
Atlanta has huge traffic volume. I-285 (the Perimeter) is notorious for peak congestion; I-75/I-85 through downtown (the 'Connector') locks up twice a day. We time pickups and cross-country departures accordingly — pre-dawn is standard for long-haul. The metro is spread: Alpharetta and the northern suburbs are 30+ miles from Midtown. Fort Benning (now Fort Moore) is 2 hours south and feeds military PCS; Warner Robins AFB is 100 miles south. 10% military discount applies.
Typical price ranges for routes we run most often. Every quote is itemized and personalized — these are starting ballparks.
Ranges shown are for standard, healthy adult pets. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, etc.) and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect the extra care, monitoring, and coordination those trips require.
Dispatch timing varies by route and season — some pickups go out within a few days, others may take up to a week to line up a driver. Either way, we'll get you a driver for whatever move you need. Tell us your timeline on the quote form and we'll give you a realistic window.
Most Southeast-to-anywhere PAX runs can pass through Atlanta. We can interchange long-haul routes here, which gives us scheduling flexibility on Atlanta-origin trips.
