Colorado Service Area
USDA-registered ground pet transport across Colorado. Front Range and beyond — Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins. Altitude-aware routing, mountain-pass winter monitoring, and military service at Peterson SFB, Buckley SFB, and Fort Carson.
Colorado is a real planning challenge. Denver sits at 5,280 feet — for some pets that's no issue, for brachycephalic breeds and pets with cardiac or respiratory conditions, altitude has to be part of the route plan from the start. We don't just drive to Denver and assume it'll be fine. Brachy trips into or out of Colorado are quoted case-by-case and routed to gain altitude gradually rather than punching through quickly.
Beyond altitude, the seasonal layer is mountain weather. I-70 west from Denver climbs to 11,000+ feet at the Eisenhower Tunnel and through Vail Pass. Closures and chain laws are common November through April. We monitor CDOT and forecast carefully before any trip that crosses the divide and flex without penalty when conditions force it. Cross-country runs east on I-70 toward Kansas City and the Midwest are usually straightforward; runs west to Utah and California require active mountain-weather management.
Colorado has a steady military presence — Peterson Space Force Base and Buckley Space Force Base near Denver and Colorado Springs, plus Fort Carson (Army) at Colorado Springs. We dispatch base-gate pickups at all three. 10% military discount, no rush fees on PCS orders, no date-change penalties.
Typical price ranges for routes we run most often. Every quote is itemized and personalized — these are starting ballparks.
Ranges shown are for standard, healthy adult pets. Brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, etc.) and pets with medical needs are quoted case-by-case to reflect the extra care, monitoring, and coordination those trips require.
Dispatch timing varies by route and season — some pickups go out within a few days, others may take up to a week to line up a driver. Either way, we'll get you a driver for whatever move you need. Tell us your timeline on the quote form and we'll give you a realistic window.
Denver at 5,280 ft and Colorado Springs at 6,000+ ft genuinely affect pets with respiratory or cardiac conditions. Brachy and medical-case Colorado trips are quoted case-by-case, with routing that gains altitude gradually and rest stops timed for acclimation.
Eisenhower Tunnel, Vail Pass, Glenwood Canyon — all weather-sensitive November through April. We monitor CDOT chain laws and closures daily and flex without penalty. Alternatives via I-80 north or I-40 south add time but stay open more reliably in storms.
All three Colorado bases are in our regular service area. We know visitor-control procedures and gate-specific commercial-vehicle rules. 10% military discount, no rush fees, no date-change penalties.
Most of our Colorado work is the Front Range — Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs. We can also dispatch to Aspen, Vail, Steamboat, and other mountain communities; those add weather-flex time and may require seasonal routing decisions.
We pick up and deliver door-to-door throughout the state. These are just the metros where we run the most trips.
Deeper coverage for key metros — local traffic, neighborhoods, military bases, and route specifics.
Pricing scales with distance, not with specific endpoints. For trips between 0 and 1,000 miles, the total typically runs $500 to $2,000. Between 1,000 and 2,000 miles, typically $2,000 to $3,800. Between 2,000 and 3,000 miles, typically $3,800 to $5,600. Brachy and medical cases are quoted case-by-case to reflect Colorado's altitude considerations. Military clients get 10% off.
For most healthy adult pets, no. For brachycephalic breeds (Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers) and pets with cardiac or respiratory conditions, yes — altitude needs to be planned. Tell us the breed and any health notes on the quote and we'll route to gain altitude gradually with appropriate rest cadence.
We check CDOT chain laws and pass closures daily November through April. If a storm is tracking through pickup day, we flex without penalty. Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass are the main winter chokepoints; we have alternates via I-80 north or I-40 south when needed.
Yes to all three. We dispatch base-gate pickups with proper paperwork. 10% military discount, no rush fees on PCS orders, no date-change penalties.
